At Saan Saan, we believe in celebrating and enjoying our meals with loved ones, happily nourishing as many people as possible with our favourite childhood foods.

We create delicious, nostalgic, gluten free, HK style cafe comfort food.  Made with fresh and wholesome ingredients, we offer exciting salad bowls, delicious gluten-free baos, noodles, and rice bowls. Sourcing from local artisans and suppliers, we take pride in supporting our community and strive to build meaningful relationships. 

Our aim is to have fun, be kind, and connect people with food, which nourishes and brings joy.

Food has always tied us together. 

Thinking back to our childhood, we remember family gatherings around our Grandparents dinner table in this exact address. We have always dreamed of opening a cafe, and Saan Saan allows us to blend inclusive food, purposeful design, and Vancouver’s Chinese history into something we can share with the community. This space has been in our family for 3 generations and now we are so excited to be able to share our home and our food with you. So come, pull up a chair, and join us at the dinner table!
